MIROSLAV ZAPLETAL !

Short interview with Miroslav Zapletal, who shoots ammunition and components ALSA PRO !
How does Miroslav evaluates the season 2013, does he train in winter ?

1) How would you evaluate the season 2013?

Season 2013 was for me very complicated - especially in connection with my decision to discontinue the collaboration with shooting team CZ Uhersky Brod. It was difficult to reach the some good shooting goals in the most occupied Production Division. Currently is this division very competitive, and any placement in the top 3 at an international competition is a great success.
I evaluate the season positively , but still are a few things, that need to be improved .... : o)

2) Which race of the 2013 season stuck in your memory? And why?

To the most important competitions belong the European Championships in Portugal, which was a great event for all shooters. Everyone here wanted to capitalize on all the efforts and the efforts of hard training. It was for me basically important peak season where I wanted to improve the outcome of the previous championships in Serbia.

I did well, during the Europan Championship in Portugal, but unfortunately I mishandled in the end a couple of situations and ultimately again to fifth place .... : o)) It was a disappointment for me, on the other hand, I keep performance in the Top 5 best shooters ....

I must not forget the matches Infinity Open in Philippsburg and EEO in Hodonice. These matches are for me always a great challenge and a battle between the best shooters in the Production Division.

3) To which match you looking forward at most this year, and why?

In this season will be many nice matches, but the World Championships and EEO will be among the most important. I believe, this matches will be technically very demanding. However, I can say that I always look forward to every match. It's been a drug for me and anyone, who failed this sport, definitely knows what I mean ...: o)

4) Do you shoot also over the winter?

I have a short break in December. In January I start training again. Terms of shooting ranges allow me to train basically in any weather (even in the the cold days), in addition this winter has been very mild ...: o)

5) How many times per week do you practice?

I try to shoot as often as possible. It is also important to distinguish the quality and quantity of training .... So the intensity during the preparation is different - it depends on athlete's goals

6) How are you going to train this year, do you enrich shooting with other sports?

I am changing training every year. But not much and I come from the results of the previous season, to get better results. Additional sports definitely belongs to that. As in every sport you need to do certain compensatory sports and exercises. This prevents injuries and health problems.

7) How you assess the victory of Maria Guschina on Far East Asia IPSC Handgun Championship in 2013?

Maria Guschina's victory in match in Thailand can't be called other than great success and it is necessary to say that her presence at the competitions perceive each shooter. If she keeps her increasing performance, we have to look forward to .... : o)

ROBIN ŠEBO !

Short interview with Robin Šebo who shoots ammunition and components ALSA PRO !
How does Robin evaluates the season 2013, does he train in winter ... ?

How would you evaluate the season 2013?

The 2013 season was very difficult, rivals, the number of matches, which I attended this year. I was always on the podium - except for the two matches. I am satisfied with last season except these two matches.

Which race of the 2013 season stuck in your memory? And why?

The match that most sticks in my mind .... Probably EEO - in terms of technical difficulty of stages, the number of situations and the number of rounds that you have to handle in three days.

What are your plans and ambitions for this season?

Ambitions for 2014 - I have the same as last year - I'll do most best matches with good results.

Do you have any plan, a special mode of preparation for the IPSC World Shoot XVII. Florida, USA ?

Of course, this match need much more intense preparation. I do not prepare for WS as for individual match. This is one of many that I will shoot this year. It has a status level V. - the World Shoot, and for this is exceptional. But I am preparing steadily throughout the season - to be able to do the best in every situation.

Do you plan any changes in training for the new season?

Yes, I plan to little bit modify and revive the training for this year. Details will solve the coming weeks, so I do not want to say more.

Do you shoot also over the winter?

This winter is not much frosts, so I it´s possible to shoot - therefore I train regularly, but I also do other additional sports - hockey, squash, running. In winter are not many matches, so I participate in aiming matches around Ostrava and also in the ten-rounds league ALSA PRO Steel Challenge.
